Senior Financial Planning & Analyses Specialist (FP&A)(m/f/x)

Dublin (IRL) | hybrid | Full-time | Immediate Start

What you’ll be doing:

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, asking the right questions behind the numbers, and translating financial insights into clear, actionable recommendations that support business success.

  • Financial Planning & Forecasting

    • You’ll work with the CFO and run the annual and quarterly planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes using robust, driver based financial models (revenue, headcount, operating expenses, cash).

    • You’ll analyse historical performance, trends, and business drivers to continuously improve forecast accuracy and predictability.

    • You’ll partner with business leaders to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and translate operational plans into financial forecasts.

  • Performance Management & Reporting

    • You’ll prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including variance analysis versus budget and forecast.

    • You’ll provide clear commentary and insights explaining performance drivers, risks, and opportunities for senior management.

    • You’ll support internal leadership, investor, and board reporting through dashboards, KPIs, and structured reporting packs in collaboration with the CFO.

  • Financial Modelling & Analysis

    • You’ll build, maintain, and enhance financial models to support decision making, scenario analysis, and investment evaluation.

    • You’ll deliver ad‑hoc and strategic analysis to support operational and strategic initiatives.

  • Business Partnering

    • You’ll act as a finance partner to cross functional teams including Revenue Operations, Go to Market, R&D, and People Operations.

    • You’ll translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders

    • You’ll Support business leaders with financial insights to inform commercial and operational decisions.

  • Systems, Data & Process Improvement

    • You’ll ensure consistency and integrity between planning data and financial actuals, working closely with the wider Finance team.

    • You’ll leverage ERP systems (ideally SAP) and Power BI to enhance reporting efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and data quality.

    • You’ll contribute to continuous improvements in FP&A processes, tools, and ways of working.

What you bring to the role:

  • A third‑level degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a recognized accounting qualification is a strong advantage.

  • 4-5 years’ experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a similar commercial finance role.

  • Good working knowledge of IFRS and the ability to translate accounting impacts into FP&A outputs (KPIs, management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting).

  • Technology industry experience in a fast-growing international setting is required; SaaS background is a plus.

  • Strong financial modelling skills with advanced Excel capability and a structured, analytical mindset.

  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and reporting tools such as Power BI.

  • Proven ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.

  • Strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently due excellent time management.

  • Eligibility to work in Ireland and willing to travel internationally (10-20% per month)

  • An openness to German expressions, given that the primary entity operates in Austria, as well as a strong interest in utilising AI tools in future initiatives, are considered advantageous.

  • A proactive, curious, and solution‑oriented mindset with a genuine interest in understanding the business behind the numbers as well as high attention to detail and analytical thinking.
